At Downtown Vision, we conduct OACP vision testing in Toronto area that is required for you to become a police constable.
The OACP Vision testing is one step in the constable selection process to become a police officer, as the OACP need to determine your medical suitability to be selected. You will be required to complete a specific vision test that will check on vision requirements such as visual acuity, refractive status, binocular vision status, colour vision, peripheral vision and ocular health testing.
In certain individuals, if their vision do not meet the requirements, vision corrective surgery may be an option to help you continue with your application.

OACP Night Vision Testing
After your corneal refractive surgical procedure or phakic intraocular implant surgery, additional testing may need to be performed to verify your eligibility. Night Vision testing must be performed if the procedure is performed within the last 6 months.
We offer the Bailey Lovie Low Contrast acuity testing required by the OACP to determine your night vision status.
